                         Dr. Moore was a former President of the Canadian Association of Anatomists, and of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists. He was honoured by the Canadian Association of Anatomists with the prestigious J.C.B. Grant Award and in 1994 he received the Honoured Member Award of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists "for outstanding contributions to the field of clinical anatomy."

"For the past three years, I have worked with the Embryology Committee of King ^cAbdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, helping them to interpret the many statements in the Qur'an and Sunnah referring to human reproduction and prenatal development. At first I was astonished by  the accuracy of the statements that were recorded in the 7^th century AD, before the science of embryology was established. Although I was aware of the glorious history of Muslim scientists in the 10th century AD, and some of their contributions to Medicine, I knew nothing about the religious facts and beliefs contained in the Qur'an and Sunnah."^[2]

At a conference in Cairo he presented a research paper and stated:

"It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Qur'an about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, or Allah, because most of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of God, or Allah." ^[1]

Professor Moore also stated that:

"...Because the staging of human embryos is complex, owing to the continuous process of change during development, it is proposed that a new system of classification could be developed using the terms mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The proposed system is simple, comprehensive, and conforms with present embryological knowledge.

"The intensive studies of the Qur'an and Hadith in the last four years have revealed a system of classifying human embryos that is amazing since it was recorded in the seventh century A.D... the descriptions in the Qur'an cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the seventh century..."

As was explained earlier, when the earth started to spin and to move, the earth’s crust went under severe stresses due to the formed shear and compression forces. The concentration of these stresses varied from one location to another, according to the local conditions. The generated forces pushed parts of the earth’s crust upwards thus forming the mountains. As the surface material is pushed upwards, the lower layers are compressed more to form the mountains’ rigid foundations, Figure (3-4). another. The stresses then propagated in different directions and the mountains were formed accordingly. This phenomenon of mountains’ formation is described in cited verses #(3-24). In these verses ALLAH (SWT) is Exhibiting some of His creation. In such exhibition He Says, “And at the mountains, how they are set up.”. The Arabic word in the verse translated to “set up”, is used as in “setting up a tent”. This means that the mountains did not exist before this event occurred. Moreover, the word set up (as in setting up a tent) indicates that the mountains were formed gradually, from the ground up [marine mountains are formed in a different manner ]. Therefore, the following may be concluded :-

THE MOUNTAINS ARE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE EARTH’S CRUST. THEY WERE FORMED AS A RESULT OF THE SPINNING MOTION OF THE EARTH. THE MOUNTAINS DID NOT EXIST BEFORE THE EARTH STARTED TO SPIN. THEY WERE FORMED FROM THE GROUND UP, DUE TO THE STRESSES GENERATED IN THE EARTH’S CRUST AS A RESULT OF ITS SPINNING MOTION.

Can genes (DNA) code for creatures’ traits (design characteristics)?

Lets see now whether the main pillar of evolution which is that genes carry the modifications from one generation to another is true or not? 

To know the answer to this question we need to understand how genes and DNA work, the genes are part of the information contained in the DNA molecule such that this information when it is read it becomes a protein and proteins are the building blocks of living creatures (like the bricks, glass, and stone comprising a building). The DNA is found only in the nucleus of the cell and as such the controlling action of the DNA is localized within the cell (shown in figure (2) part (A)).

So when the proteins leave the cell (taking the collagen protein as an example) and they are found in the space outside of the cell (shown in figure (2) part (B)), then the big question now is: Can the DNA control the collagen proteins to form the shape of the hand for example (shown in figure (2) part (C))?

The answer is NO, because as we said the control of the DNA is found only within the nucleus of the cell. Thus it can be concluded that genes and DNA can not code (memorize) the design information of a creature and as such design changes occurring in a certain generation of organisms can not be transferred to the next generation using genes and so there is no basis for the evolution claim.

Some of the discontent over fingerprint evidence may be due to the desire to push the conclusiveness of fingerprint examinations to the same level of certitude as that of DNA analysis.DNA is probability-based inasmuch as an individual is genetically half from the mother's contribution and half from the father's contribution. These genetic contributions are passed down from generation to generation. While pattern type (arch, loops, and whorls) may be inherited, the details of the friction ridges are not.

For example, it cannot be concluded that a person inherited a certain bifurcation from their mother and an ending ridge from their father as the development of these features are completely random. Further, fingerprints as an analogy of uniqueness has been widely scientifically accepted. 

For example, chemists often use the term "fingerprint region" to describe an area of a chemical that can be used to identify it.

Al-Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It took about 23 years for the complete revelation. The revelation was gradual and in parts. The message of holy Qur’an has been inspiring and revolutionary. The book has been unique in essence and profound in meaning. Human beings cannot produce even a single ayat like that found in Al-Qur’an. 

Many reckless persons exercised their futile efforts to produce the ayats like those found in Al-Qur’an, but they were utterly humiliated. The words of Al-Qur’an are from Almighty Allah who has the ultimate knowledge of realities pertaining to every branch of science. 

Every ayat of Qur’an is quite amazing and full of wisdom. Modern scientific research helps us understand the meaning of many verses of Al-Qur’an more clearly. To make the point clearer example of two verses of Al-Qur’an are cited here. In Surah Qiyammah, it is mentioned: 

“Does man think that we shall not gather his bones" Yea! We are able to make complete his very finger tips.” (75:3-4)
